CCNA Voice Advanced Lab Kit training that we provide:

Voice and video training is provided by the Cisco CCNA Collaboration book set and you can configure the labs in the books on your lab gear. The book has quizzes, test preparation guidelines, and practice questions.

CCNA Voice Advanced Lab Kit Server Information:

A Dell R410 (or better) server with 16GB of RAM and a 500GB of hard drive loaded with a copy of VMware 6 as well as all the Cisco demo software before we ship it to you. VMware is loaded and run on the server so you can then run CUCM and CUC at the same time on the same box. We also provide you access to backup copies of all the Cisco demo software, Cisco IOS’, and other programs on our download site.

CCNA Voice Advanced Lab Kit Router Information:

Our CCNA Voice Advanced Lab Kit comes with one 2911 router with Voice License running IOS 15.7 and two 2811 routers running IOS 15.1 as well as CME 8.6. You will be able to configure an HQ office, branch office, and a PSTN simulator to configure the labs in the CCNA Collaboration books. Should you want a second branch office, just add a fourth router and the necessary VWIC and PVDM cards.

CCNA Voice Advanced Lab Kit Switch Information:

There is no need to have a power supply for each IP phone, a 3750v2  multi-layer Power over Ethernet switch (supporting true Layer 3 routing running IP Services 15.0 IOS) is part of this lab kit.

CCNA Voice Advanced Lab Kit Phones & Serial Interface Cards:

Two 7962 IP phones and three 7942 IP phones are included. With these phones you will be able to study and learn VoIP usage in a Cisco environment.

***You can get a VoIP provider that provides a SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and make calls over the Internet for a very low cost. We can provide you this service too! Add a note to your order or send us an email and we can set it up.

To simulate a PRI Voice T1 line a pair of VWIC2-1MFT-T1 Multi-fractional serial card and one VWIC2-2MFT-T1 Multi-fractional serial card are included. These cards can send voice, data, or both over a T1 simulated connection. A pair of T1 crossover cables & smart cables are provided for you to connect these cards. You also get one HWIC-1T and three WIC-1T serial cards.

You also receive a 12U desktop rack with mounting brackets for your lab kit!

*To configure the routers and switches, you need a computer with a DB9 serial port to use with the console cable.  However, most of today’s computers do not have this port.  Please note that when resetting a password on some Cisco devices, you need to press CTRL-BREAK when the unit is first powered on.  Many of the “cheap” USB to serial adapters do not pass this code, ours does!
