CCNA Routing & Switching Advanced Routers Included:

Our CCNA Routing & Switching Advanced Lab Kit comes complete with everything you need to start studying for your CCT RSTECH or CCNA R&S career. You receive one Cisco 2901 router running IOS 15.7 and two Cisco 2811 routers running version 15.1 IOS. The routers have one console port, one usb port and one aux port. Below are the other features of each router.

CCNA R&S Advanced Switches Included:

The first is one Cisco 3750V2PoE switch is running IOS 15.0, and are Layer 2/Layer 3 Fast Ethernet stackable switches with Open Shortest path First (OSPF) routing support, advanced quality of service (QoS), rate limiting, access control lists (ACLs), and basic static and Routing Information Protocol (RIP) and OSPF routing functions, advanced hardware-based IP unicast and IP multicast routing as well as policy-based routing (PBR), IPv6 routing and IPv6 ACL support. Having a stackable switch is needed for those seeking their CCNP R&S certification after completing the CCNA certification. The two Cisco 2960 switches, one LanLite and one LanBase, have robust features such as VTPv3 and FlexLinks. They also feature voice, video, data, and highly secure access, and delivering scalable management. Included features: Enhanced security including Cisco TrustSec for providing authentication, access control, and security policy administration, and run version IOS 15.0.

CCNA R&S Advanced Additional Equipment Included:

Our CCNA Routing & Switching Advanced Lab Kit comes with four HWIC-1DSU-T1 allowing you to gain knowledge of serial interfaces and Frame-Relay. (Frame Relay is no longer on the exam however, it’s still good to learn; it is replaced by MPLS on the exam). Plenty of cables that include ten ethernet cables (5*5ft yellow cables & 5*5ft blue cables), three crossover cables (3ft gray cables), two serial crossover cables (5ft white cables), one console cables (5ft light blue cable) and six power cords (5ft black cables) to wire up all those ports in your labs. With more Ethernet cables over the Basic and Standard Lab Kits and other additional cables, you can create many different topologies to learn from.

Basic Wireless security is now part of the CCNA exam and other aspects of wireless technologies which is why we are including a Cisco Aironet 1252 802.11a/b/g/n access point (powered by the 3750v2PoE switch). This unit supports WPA2 and other security features you will need to learn.

This course has lots of real-world, hands-on labs for you to learn from and configure. Additional configuration information:

*To configure the routers and switches, you need a computer with a DB9 serial port to use with the console cable.  However, most of today’s computers do not have this port.  Please note that when resetting a password on some Cisco devices, you need to press CTRL-BREAK when the unit is first powered on.  Many of the “cheap” USB to serial adapters do not pass this code, ours does!
